The last 2 days I have had the great pleasure of #1 staying in my home town of Dallas/Fort Worth to give my memory training speech but also speak for real estate offices.

Twenty years ago when I got started in this business as a memory speaker, real estate offices were my bread and butter! I would call up the local Century 21, Keller Williams, Coldwell Banker and other real estate offices and offer them a 30 minute presentation on how a trained memory will increase sales.








This morning I spoke for Ebby Halliday, a local DFW based company, and shared with these realtors how training their mind is going to sell them more homes! Think about it, you sell a home to someone today or show them a home and then 6 months later you see them at the grocery store and you are able to say, ‘Sue! How are you? How are your kids Frankie and Lisa? How are you enjoying the home on Maple Street?’

WOW! What if a realtor could do THAT!?

Well, they can and that is what I talked to them about today. Not only that, but what if a realtor could go to a real estate seminar and remember all the key details FOREVER! Or remember all the key points on all the listings? Wow….well…it is POSSIBLE!

Let me give you two scenarios:

#1. You have a realtor who knows all the sales techniques and everything about the real estate business but he/she can’t recall names or remember listings

#2 You have a realtor who is average on sales techniques (or even below) and has adequate knowledge about the real estate business but he/she can meet you today and remember your name 2 weeks or 2 years later at the bank, grocery store, park, museum or ANYWHERE!

Who do you think in the long run is going to sell more homes?! You bet…#2!

Zig Ziglar puts it this way, ‘People don’t care how much you know until they first know how much you care.’ Dale Carnegie says that everyone’s favorite subject is themselves and the sweetest sound to a person’s ear is the sound of their own name.

So today, I spent the day with Ebby Halliday real estate in Dallas and ENJOYED sharing my memory techniques and seeing their eyes light up as they saw hope in their memories and even how it translated into increased sales.

Oh another thing I like about realtors…they are a FUN group and my talk is fun so we had a BLAST!!
